ATU and Engineers Ireland International Conference – Fire Safety Engineering
We were pleased to participate at the Engineers Ireland International Conference on Performance-Based Fire Safety Engineering, held on 1st May at Atlantic Technological University (ATU), Donegal Campus, Letterkenny.
Building on 25 years of fire safety engineering education at ATU, the conference brought together leading international experts to address the evolving challenges of fire safety
engineering in tall and complex buildings. The event highlighted the growing importance of
robust, performance-based approaches that respond to modern construction methods,
regulatory frameworks, and safety expectations.
This year’s conference at ATU marked a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years of fire engineering education and formally launching the Master of Engineering in Fire Safety Engineering.
