Hardware Show 2026: Two Inspiring Days of Innovation

The Hardware Show 2026, the key trade show of the Irish hardware and building materials industry, took place on 15–16 February at RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin.
Over two days, the event brought together manufacturers, suppliers, merchants and
industry professionals to share ideas, discover new solutions and discuss the future of
construction in Ireland.

We were delighted to welcome so many visitors to our stand and would like to express a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by. It was a real pleasure connecting with professionals from across the industry and sharing insightful conversations.

Innovation was also strongly in the spotlight this year with the Innovation Awards 2026,
which celebrate the most exciting new products and initiatives in the sector.
Shortlisted and winning solutions were showcased throughout the event, giving attendees the opportunity to experience the latest innovations.

A special congratulations goes to our partner CJ Sheeran and The Pallet Loop, for winning the “Best Build Product” Award with The Pallet Loop. This recognition celebrates an
innovative approach that supports a more sustainable construction industry.

Saint-Gobain, through our Gyproc and Isover brands, is proud to support this initiative through our partnership with the Pallet Loop, a circular pallet reuse system transforming how building materials move across the supply chain in the Island of Ireland.

The Pallet Loop replaces traditional single use pallets with green pallets designed to be
collected, repaired, and reused multiple times, significantly reducing waste and carbon impact.

After collection, pallets are inspected, repaired if needed, and put back into circulation,
creating a loop system that keeps materials in use longer.
Companiesbenefitfrom a financial PayBackincentive for every pallet returned in reusable condition.
