Chryso, GCP and Fosroc – now combined as Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals, have been providing specialist construction materials and expertise in Ireland for over 50 years.
The combined product and services portfolio offers a complete solution across key construction markets including civil engineering infrastructure, transportation, utilities, commercial / mixed-use /public buildings, marine and data centres.
Irish project examples include the supply of joint sealants at Dublin Airport, waterproofing at York Street Train Station in Belfast, Brushbond FXIII protective coating for buried concrete at Dunkettle Interchange, concrete repairs on Ardnacrusha Dam and Downpatrick Racecourse, PREPRUFE® 120S below ground waterproofing and gas protection for St Stephen’s Green Hotel in Dublin, Aviva Stadium with Preprufe Adprufe and Chromofibre, and waterproofing for the National Art Gallery.
The SGCC team works with end user clients, distributors, main and specialist contractors and applicators, engineers and architects to deliver high performing solutions with smooth installation and minimal disruption for a fast return to service. Working with major contractors through to domestic contractors, and distributor partners Anchor Bay Construction Accessories, MacBlair, Sitetech, Murdock Civils and SIG, the brands are well-established and recognised as trusted solution providers in the most challenging and highly regulated of construction environments.
Chryso is a technology leader in admixtures and additives for cement manufacturers ready-mix and precast, GCP is the go-to provider for below ground waterproofing, also incorporating the Stirling Lloyd and RIW product ranges. Fosroc is the key brand for concrete repair solutions, joint sealants and grouts, incorporating Weber technical mortars. Technical services include expert specification support, cross-product and brand warranty packages, comprehensive waterproofing design services (WDS) backed by professional indemnity insurance, rapid on-site support in addition to remote technical support/CAD, CPD seminars and ‘toolbox talks’ applicator training sessions.
