Saint-Gobain in Ireland appoints Barry Hennessy as a new Commercial Sector Director
Saint-Gobain in Ireland is pleased to announce the promotion of Barry Hennessy to the newly created role of Commercial Sector Director, a strategic position designed to accelerate the delivery of our Lead and Grow ambition across the Irish market.
Following 20 years with Saint‑Gobain, Barry has developed significant technical, specification and commercial acumen, complemented by deep market insight, strong customer relationships, and a proven track record of leadership. He holds an MBA from the University of Limerick and most recently served as National Specification Manager, where he made a substantial contribution to our commercial success and strategic partnerships.
In his new position, Barry will lead the Commercial Sector Division, with responsibility for strengthening demand and championing the value of Saint-Gobain’s solutions across the full portfolio of Saint-Gobain's brands in Ireland. This role is designed to enhance how the organisation creates and converts demand across the sector and will continue to collaborate with the sales team which remains central to the success of Saint-Gobain's service offering.
