This year, we were proud to serve as the main sponsor of the Irish Building Control Institute (IBCI) Annual Conference, held at the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill, Galway.

The event brought together industry professionals from across Ireland to explore the latest 
developments in the Building Control System, Building Regulations, and Market Surveillance, highlighting the ongoing evolution of the country’s regulatory landscape.

Over the course of two insightful days, attendees engaged in rich discussions, learned from expert speakers, and enjoyed great conversations— all taking place with a clear view of the sea.

The conference opened with an industry overview featuring participating exhibitors, where Fintan Smyth spoke on the topic of professional judgement and fire on 4 March.

On the second day, during a full schedule of technical sessions, Fintan present Part L Compliance and Technical Issues, providing valuable guidance and clarity for building control professionals.
