Now, we’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Senior Technical Advisor to join our team and help us shape the future of construction.

As a Senior Technical Advisor, you’ll be the go-to expert for building physics, fire safety, acoustics, and energy efficiency — providing guidance to architects, contractors, merchants, and our own Saint-Gobain teams.

Your expertise will help ensure projects meet the highest standards, while your customer focus will strengthen relationships across the construction industry. From analysing technical challenges to delivering innovative solutions, this is a role where your knowledge will have a real and lasting impact.

• Advising architects, specifiers, contractors, and internal teams on technical solutions.
• Supporting Gyproc and Isover sales & specification teams to grow our product range.
• Developing tailored design solutions, backed by modelling tools such as BIM, AutoCAD, U-Value calculations, thermal modelling, and WUFI analysis.
• Delivering presentations and technical training to industry professionals.
• Staying ahead of industry standards, building regulations, and sustainability trends.
• Building trusted relationships across the construction network, from site teams to boardrooms.
• Maintaining and sharing a “knowledge library” of best practice guidance.
• Supporting innovation and continuous improvement in how we work.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re curious, collaborative, and committed to excellence. Ideally, you bring:

• A relevant construction qualification (engineering, architecture, or similar).
• 5+ years’ technical support experience in the construction or building materials sector.
• Strong knowledge of building physics, fire, acoustics, or energy efficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry tools (AutoCAD essential; Revit desirable).
• The ability to analyse complex data, problem-solve, and provide practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills — confident presenting to both technical and commercial audiences.
• A hands-on, proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
