Logistics Manager

We are currently recruiting for the position of Logistics Manager within our Supply Chain Department based in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan. The successful candidate will join a committed team dedicated to optimising procurement, inventory & distribution management, embracing an extensive range of building products, metal systems, decorative products and fixings. 

The role will be responsible for the management of all outsourced logistical activities whilst developing & managing an internal logistical resource through team building, training & process improvement, to meet and exceed required service levels in support of customer and business deliverables.  The ideal candidate will articulate and develop a future vision for logistics activities within Saint Gobain, including but not limited to process development, technology development and resource utilisation.

The successful candidate should ideally hold a professional qualification in Logistics or Management. Proficiency in SAP or other ERP system knowledge would be a strong advantage.
