‘How to construct’ Isover Optima
Supported by NSAI Agrement certification, the Isover Optima system is an internal insulated dry-lining system for walls that can often be used to overcome some of the key challenges associated with internally insulating poorly insulated existing walls of various construction types.
This new one day long ‘How to construct’ Isover Optima course provides, in a hands on practical manner, the opportunity for both design and installation personnel alike to see, learn, and enhance their understanding of the Isover Optima system and its key performance characteristics and limitations.
High performance energy efficient and moisture management solutions in existing buildings rely on the application of fundamental design principles being maintained with corresponding high standards of installation. On this course we will explain the fundamental principles and highlight how they are adopted into Isover Optima system when simple detailing principles are applied.
Core to the days training activity, all attendees will be invited to participate and team up to undertake the construction of a simple Isover Optima mockup within one of our Academy workshop areas.
This new Isover course adds and compliments Saint-Gobain's Technical Academy’s existing Gyproc practical installation courses. With the addition of the Optima course the ‘How to construct’ series of course now covers metal framed partitions, ceilings, wall linings, internal wall insulation systems and steel framed encasements.
