An Introduction to nZEB

As part of the Technical Academy’s new series of online training, this 1-hour presentation titled 'An Introduction to nZEB' will cover the key basics that construction industry professionals should be aware of when designing, constructing and operating in an environment of the recently revised conservation for fuel and energy regulations for dwellings constructed in ROI.  

The presentation will provide a short background to the origin of the nZEB requirements and the timeline for how this has been introduced into ROI Building Regulations. It will inform of the scale of the energy conservation measures required, the key elements that have changed within the relevant ROI Technical Guidance Documents and what key measures could be considered when looking to achieve compliance with the Building Regulations by concentrating on a fabric first approach. 

All our Technical Academy Online courses are being run through MS Teams and require registration which can be undertaken in a few easy steps by clicking the link below/above. Participants do not need to have MS Teams installed on their devices to attend the webinar. 

Each webinar will include the described presentation with sufficient time also allowed to ask the presenter questions. Questions will be directed to the presenter through the systems chat facility and will be anonymised when responded to.
